Privacy policy (mail-in repair)

Information we collect

Name, name reading (フリガナ), date of birth, address, phone number, email address, device information (model, IMEI, etc.), symptoms, passcode (if you tell us), and shipping information.

Purpose of use

Receiving, diagnosing, quoting, repairing and returning devices, and warranty service; contacting you; identity verification; and sending news if you asked for it when applying.

Disclosure to third parties

Except where based on laws and regulations, we do not provide your information to third parties without your consent. To return the device, we give the carrier the information it needs (name, address and phone number).

Security

Communication is encrypted (HTTPS). Only our staff who have logged in can view the information. Passcodes are stored encrypted and deleted after the return.

The information is stored on the servers of a cloud service provider (country of storage: United States).

To fill in the address from the postal code, only the 7-digit postal code you enter is sent to the address lookup service zipcloud. No other information, such as your name, is sent.

Requests for disclosure, correction or deletion

If you would like your information disclosed or corrected, its use stopped, or the information deleted, please contact us at the address below.
