Frequently asked questions

How long does the repair take?

The price list shows a rough guide to the work time. We diagnose the device when it arrives and tell you the planned return date together with the quote.

Will my data be erased?

Screen and battery replacements usually keep your data, but please always make a backup just in case.

I do not want to share my passcode.

You can choose "By phone after the device arrives", or we can repair the device without it. In that case we can only check start-up, display, touch and charging, and functions we cannot check are not covered by the warranty.

Do I need to turn off "Find My"?

As a rule, you can leave it on. We recommend leaving it on in case the device is lost in transit. If it needs to be turned off, we will contact you.

What if I do not accept the quote?

You can decline the repair. In that case we charge a diagnostic fee of ¥2,500–¥5,000 plus the return shipping.

Can I send from Hokkaido, Okinawa or remote islands?

Yes. Parcels containing lithium-ion batteries may not be carried by air, so arrival and return can take a few extra days.

Can I contact you in a language other than Japanese?

This page is available in 8 languages. We will contact you in your preferred language as far as we can.
